My Story

Shane Burke is a dedicated Compliance Officer currently employed at the City of Busselton, where he enjoys a great working environment. With over 10 years of service in the Western Australian Police Force, Shane attained the rank of Senior Constable, serving in various locations across the state including Perth, Kalgoorlie, Broome, Busselton, and Bunbury. His extensive policing career involved handling complex and hostile situations with expertise in situation awareness and verbal communication, earning him a deep understanding of legislation, regulations, and policies.

In addition to his policing career, Shane has a rich background in the construction industry. He holds a Certificate III in Solid Plastering and successfully ran his own business in Ireland for several years, working with large construction firms, subcontractors, and small builders.
